Requirements

Experience
  • At least 8 years
Additional Requirements
  • Age at most 50 years
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in any reputed bank preferably with 3 years of experience in similar role with excellent clientele base for Corporate, SME & Retail Business
  • Post-Graduation preferably in business background from any reputed public/private university with no Third Class/Division
  • Experience of working in a centralized process and real time on-line banking environment is preferable
  • Strong knowledge of Branch Operations, General Banking, Lending Operations & Credit Management, and Foreign Trade Operations is required
  • Well conversant with Bank Companies Act, Partnership Act, Bangladesh Artha Rin Adalat, AML Act, Negotiable Instrument Act, Regulatory Guidelines, respective job-related Laws and acts etc.
  • Excellent business communication skills with effective sales acumen and strong interpersonal relationship
  • Sufficient skills to operate Microsoft Office Applications/Banking software

Responsibilities & Context

Job Context:

Position: Branch Manager(s) requiring in major business location(s) especially in Gulshan/ Banani/Dhanmondi/Motijheel, Savar and Pabna areas.  

Position will be offered to the deserving candidates on the basis of experience and competence.

 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Developing and executing business plan and strategy in line with achieving branch profitability and growth
  • Ensuring smooth functioning of daily banking operations and high-quality customer services
  • Deposit procurement, building long-term relationship with customers and ensuring business growth
  • Working in close relationship with Senior Management, Credit Risk Management, Credit Administration, Corporate Business, Trade Finance and others to ensure branch business and satisfactory customer services
  • Planning, directing and managing branch sales team for acquiring new business and achieving asset & liability target
  • Playing key role for delivering tailored financial solutions that meet customer's needs; building long lasting relationship in local community
  • Collaborating with affiliated Sub-Branch for smooth functioning and achieving goals
  • Effective ownership and execution role of single captain in promoting and establishing business contacts and manage relationships for expansion of business opportunities
  • Ensure effective process, regulatory compliance and controls for preventing money laundering in line with regulatory requirements
  • Leading, coaching and managing people, assisting them to achieve individual and team targets as well as fostering their individual career development aspirations
