Requirements

Experience
  • 3 to 5 years

  • The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): Labor Law, Corporate Responsibility, Social Compliance, ACCORD and Sustainability.

  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Garments, Textile

  • Must have ability to prepare all reports and correspondences with stakeholders in English

  • Independent and able to take decision in critical situation.

  • Ability to find out the nonconformity and to take proper measures to address the noncompliance issues and present a solution to make it sustainable.

  • Passion for sustainability and desire to make a difference to how the future fashion operating model.

  • Good knowledge & experience in apparel manufacturing and retail

  • Ideally previous related work experience/internships in sustainability, supply chain, product development, fabric/raw material, and corporate social responsibility in the apparel industry preferred

  • Up to date with the latest sustainability trends, best practices, and textile processes.

  • Ability to build clear, confident, positive communication with company colleagues and suppliers with the ability to form relationships, influence, and work collaboratively across the business

  • Technology skills and experience to develop robust tracking

  • To have strong knowledge on Social Compliance, Labour Law & Rules, Factory Act, Fire Act, ILO conventions, Buyer's code and conduct pertaining to protocols in RMG & Textiles industry.

  • Good interpersonal, influencing, listening, organizational, presentation and decision-making skills

  • Self-motivated and able to work under pressure, quickly and efficiently

  • Excellent communication skills & fluent in English - written & verbal

  • Good time management


Responsibilities & Context

  • Need to ensure all Compliance, CSR & Sustainability relevant activity in Global Supply Chain according to local law and company policy & standards.

  • Conduct meetings and visits to facilities for compliance monitoring, remediation or training

  • Manage supply chain mapping and traceability.

  • Regular visit to the factories as per factory development program and ensure company's Sustainability, Compliance and Health-Safety requirements.

  • Prepare corrective action plan with finding the root causes to eliminate the issues permanently

  • Communicate with Compliance team and need to check the status

  • Coordinate with different offices for CSR, Compliance and Project work.

  • Perform Social Ethical audit as per company requirement. Sound knowledge of ETI, SA8000, BSCI, SMETA, WRAP, and respective countries required law (labor law, Health safety related law, etc)

  • Responsible for performing internal audit follow-up audit on Ethical Standards, Buyers Code of Conduct, SEDEX, BSCI, WRAP, ICS, CTPAT, HIGG, FSLM/SLCP, BW, ISO, Safety issues.
