Education
  • Master of Business Administration (MBA)
  • Minimum Masters of Business Administration (MBA) in Marketing or relevant field.

Experience
  • At least 10 years
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
    Manufacturing (FMCG), Group of Companies, Plastic/ Polymer Industry

Responsibilities & Context

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background and a proven track record of identifying and executing new business opportunities.

In this role, the selected personnel will be responsible for driving growth and innovation across our business segments, working to bring new ideas and strategies to our conglomerate’s portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Strategy Development: Develop and implement new business strategies to expand market presence, increase revenue, and identify new opportunities.

  • Market Research: Conduct in-depth market research to identify emerging trends, competitor activities, and untapped market segments, providing valuable insights to senior leadership.

  • Lead Generation & Networking: Identify potential business partners, clients, and new projects to generate leads. Build and maintain relationships with key industry stakeholders, clients, and partners.

  • New Business Acquisition: Drive the process of acquiring new business, from initial concept and proposal creation to negotiations and contract closures, ensuring the company’s interests and goals are met.

  • Client Relationship Management: Establish and manage long-term relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and aligning the company’s services and products to meet their demands.

  • Partnership & Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and operations, to identify new business opportunities and innovative solutions that align with the company's vision.

  • Revenue Generation: Set and meet sales targets, ensuring sustainable and profitable growth for the business.

  • Financial Management: Assist in developing and managing budgets for new business initiatives and provide regular performance reports.

  • Innovation & New Product Ideas: Propose and evaluate new product ideas or services to bring to market, contributing to the company's competitive advantage.
