The incumbent requires to have 4 years bachelor’s degree in Footwear engineering/ M.F.A in Fine arts from Public, Private or Oversees University.

A PGD/Diploma degree from reputed institution on footwear manufacturing will add more value.

The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
Tannery/Footwear

Expertise in creating functional, aesthetically appealing, and innovative shoe designs.Understanding of different materials and construction techniques for quality and durability.
Ability to analyze fashion trends, consumer preferences, and competitive landscapes to stay ahead in the industry.
Knowledge of foot anatomy and comfort principles to ensure the shoes are both stylish and supportive.
Expertise in eco-friendly materials and sustainable design practices, ensuring environmental responsibility in footwear production.

Competencies and skills we are looking for:

Identify and implement process improvements to enhance product quality, reduce time-to-market, and lower costs.
Conduct market research and competitor analysis as needed.
Stay informed about market trends, consumer preferences, and competitive products.
Develop and manage product cost targets in collaboration with the finance and manufacturing teams.
Ensure all products are developed within budget constraints.
Ensure all products meet the company's quality standards and comply with relevant regulations and standards.
Address and resolve any quality issues that arise during development.
Coordinate with suppliers, factories, and internal teams to ensure timely delivery of samples and final products.
Understanding of the manufacturing processes involved in PU pouring and how to design for efficient production.
Proficiency in Shoe master/ICAD Software and other product development tools.
