Responsibilities & Context

Administration control:

  • Responsible for managing administration, distribution protocol, equipment and facility, product protection, temp. Control, sanitation, and pest control & Operating two Distribution Center smoothly (Dry & Cold DC).
  • Responsible for overall management, execution, and personnel supervision of the supply and warehouse function, including customer service, storage, inventory, repair cycle & equipment.
  • Monitor Temperatures Constantly. Temperature is perhaps the most crucial element of a cold storage facility. Efficient inventory management is critical to maintaining product quality and minimizing waste.
  • Responsibilities include motivating and disciplining staff, training of growing team bonding, capabilities & efficiency, handling and disposition of inventory items, inspecting physical condition of the storage area.
  • Monitored daily operations and ensured compliance with company policies and regulations.
  • Collaborated with vendors and suppliers to secure best deals on products and services purchased.
  • Directed and led employees, supervising activities to drive productivity and efficiency.
  • Develop, and Manage stock handling SOPs to ensure that stock is moved and stored correctly and rotated according to FIFO, FEFO principles and minimize losses as a result of breakages, damages, and shelf-life.
  • Monitor and maintain warehouse safety standards, compliance, promoting a culture of safety and adherence to regulations. Ensure warehouse compliance audits with third-party auditors by NSF Review of YUM Distribution Quality Assurance Audit.
  • Knowledge of all types of materials stored in the Warehouse. Knowledge in storekeeping and warehousing practices including use of pertinent software operations and maintaining accurate records. Knowledge in warehouse control, inventory control and related duties. Knowledge in ERP software. 

Transportation Management:

  • Planning and overseeing the transportation of goods, both inbound and outbound.
  • Selecting and managing transportation providers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
  • Repair and maintenance cost need to keep under control and fuel usage tracking

Warehouse and Inventory Management:

  • Overseeing the storage, handling, and distribution of products within warehouses.
  • Implementing efficient inventory management practices to ensure optimal stock levels and minimize holding costs.
  • Ensuring accurate inventory records and conducting regular stock audits.
  • Initiated inventory control measures to manage, replenish stock, maintain cost and meet the outlets demand.

Logistics Planning and Strategy:

  • Developing logistics strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and meet restaurants service goals.
  • Analyzing logistics data to identify areas for improvement and implement changes accordingly.
  • Planning and managing logistics projects, such as new warehouse openings or system implementations.

Order Fulfillment:

  • Ensuring that customer orders are processed, picked, packed, and shipped accurately and on time.
  • Coordinating with customer service and sales teams to address any order-related issues or special requirements.
  • Monitoring order fulfillment performance and implementing improvements.

Cost Management:

  • Managing the logistics budget and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
  • Monitoring and controlling logistics expenses to stay within budget while maintaining service quality.
  • Conducting cost-benefit analyses for logistics operations and initiatives.

Compliance and Risk Management:

  • Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and Warehouse standards, such as transportation laws, customs regulations, and safety standards.
  • Managing logistics risks, such as transportation delays, damages, and losses, and developing contingency plans.
  • Ensuring that all logistics activities adhere to environmental and sustainability policies.

Technology and Systems Management:

  • Implementing and managing logistics software and systems, such as warehouse management systems (WMS/ERP)
  • Leveraging technology to improve logistics efficiency, visibility, and data accuracy.
  • Staying updated with advancements in logistics technology and integrating new solutions as needed.

Performance Monitoring and Reporting:

  • Tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) related to logistics operations, such as delivery times, transportation costs, and inventory accuracy.
  • Preparing regular reports for senior management on logistics performance, challenges, and achievements.
  • Using data analysis to drive continuous improvement in logistics processes.

Team Leadership and Development:

  • Leading and managing the logistics team, including hiring, training, and performance management.
  • Fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
  • Providing ongoing support and development opportunities for team members.

Customer Service:

  • Ensuring that logistics operations meet Restaurant requirements and expectations.
  • Addressing any logistics-related customer complaints or issues.
  • Working closely with restaurant teams to improve overall customer satisfaction.
