Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Negotiating skills for closing large, complex deals
  • Record of consistent meeting and exceeding quota targets
  • At least 5-10 years of track record in negotiating and growing B2B sales in enterprise geospatial solutions or other enterprise systems such as ERP, CRM, Business Analytics.
  • Familiarity in the Solution Selling Process and account management for nurturing enterprise customers.
  • Experience in sectors of: National Government, Local Government, Electric, Water, Gas Utilities, Infrastructure.
  • Understanding of client business drivers and market drivers.
  • Effective negotiation skills that establish sustainable mutually beneficial outcomes for the Company and client.
  • Effective communication skills, spoken, written and presentation.
  • Effective time management skills and good attention to detail.
  • Experience and a positive attitude in working with cross-functional teams is essential.

About the role

We are looking for experienced, self-driven sales professionals who are customer-oriented and collaborative team players who enjoy achieving results underpinned by value adding to clients and building lasting business relationships, enabled by best-in-class solutions that can radically improve business outcomes and deliver real-world impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and articulate clients’ goals and objectives and propose value propositions and solutions to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Support and guide the strategic vision of clients and prospects to grow the adoption of Esri’s solutions and services.
  • Articulate and deliver business value propositions that communicate Esri’s solution, services, and commercial offerings in a compelling engagement with key and key decision makers.
  • Build sales pipeline and lead the progression of sales opportunities through the sales cycle to sales results for the Company.
  • Work closely and synergistically with cross-functional teams, such as pre-sales and services teams, to build the Company’s business.
  • Operate a cadence of activities including account management, opportunity and pipeline analysis, pipeline progression and sales reporting and other productivity metrics, in a disciplined and transparent manner.
  • Record all customer information into the Company’s CRM for data driven analysis and inter-departmental effectiveness.
  • Apply critical thinking to help users overcome challenges.
