Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Mechanical Engineering
Experience
  • 7 to 10 years
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):

  • Age at least 30 years

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of garment production machinery, especially for jacket items.
  • Ability to develop and implement preventive and corrective maintenance programs.
  • Expertise in managing spare parts inventory and special machine allocation.
  • Proficiency in record-keeping, data analysis, and using maintenance management software.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills to coordinate with factory teams and management.
  • Risk Analysis and preparation of corrective and preventive action plan and have the ability to implement them with proper guideline to subordinates.

Position: AGM Maintenance (Mechanical Engineer)

Job Location: Corporate Office, with periodic visits to factory units

Job Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and centrally collect machine information of all units within Debonair Group.
  • Prepare and maintain a comprehensive special machine list unit-wise.
  • Manage stock, issuance, and utilization of special machines across all units.
  • Develop and implement unit-wise machine maintenance programs (daily, weekly, and monthly) to ensure proper upkeep.
  • Ensure proactive maintenance scheduling for machines in collaboration with unit maintenance teams.
  • Monitor and update records of machines in use and anticipate future machine requirements based on order types.
  • Conduct factory-wise inquiries to assess special machine requirements for new orders.
  • Ensure the availability of spare parts for special machines, particularly for urgent maintenance needs.
  • Organize and conduct training sessions and meetings for factory maintenance teams to enhance their understanding of updated machine activities, trends, and operational efficiency.
  • Periodically visit factory units to verify adherence to maintenance schedules, proper utilization of special machines, and overall machine-related operations.
  • Maintain an inventory of idle machines factory-wise and update records through relevant software.
  • Track and manage machine movement records across different factory units.
  • Optimize machine allocation within the group by ensuring internal sourcing before procuring new machines.
  • Collaborate with factory internal audit teams, maintenance teams, store departments, and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Report to the Group CFO & MD regarding maintenance operations, machine status, and required improvements.
