Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education or related field (Master’s preferred).
Teaching certification/license with specialization in Physical Education.
Minimum 3 years of teaching experience, preferably within an IB World School.
Familiarity with the IB MYP/PYP/DP frameworks and inquiry-based learning methods.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Commitment to ongoing professional development and reflective practice.
Plan, deliver, and assess engaging PE lessons in accordance with the PYP,MYP &DP frameworks.
Employee must need to stay in school campus since its a boarding school.
Promote physical fitness, healthy lifestyles, and skill development across a range of sports and activities.
Design age-appropriate, inclusive, and differentiated instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners.
Collaborate with colleagues to integrate physical education within interdisciplinary learning units according to IB curriculum.
Provides appropriate safety instruction and makes safety checks on equipment and field areas to insure the over-all safety of students.
Establishes and maintains standards of student behavior needed to provide an orderly, productive environment in the physical education areas.
Evaluates each student's growth in physical skills, knowledge, and contribution in team sports.
Participate in coaching, outdoor education trips, school-wide events, and/or extracurricular activities.
Most importantly, teacher should be responsible for student's overall improvement in academics and in other extracurricular actives.
