Job Description

Requirements

Education
  • Master of Science (MSc) in Animal Husbandry/ Doctor of Veterinary Medicine.
  • Animal Husbandry/ Doctor of Veterinary Medicine.
  • MS will be preferable.
Experience
  • 4 to 5 years

Responsibilities & Context

Job Description:

  • Daily animal health condition monitoring and management along with the veterinarian.
  • Bull semen collection and ensuring quality with its relevant operation.
  • Semen processing and ensuring the quality of the maximum number of straws.
  • Maintain quality assurance for semen production, processing, preservation, distribution from the bull station to the desired destination.
  • Certification of quality semen, bull in the lab, distribution as well as in the field.
  • Maintain proper all AI laboratory registers, bull registers, semen collection, and evaluation register, product check register, temperature/humidity register, health observation register, etc.
  • Calf and heifer and pregnant animal management along with the veterinarian.
  • Acted on different zoonotic and screening tests of animals like brucellosis, TB, campylobacter spp. and trichomoniasis.
  • Regular calibration of lab equipment and utensils.
  • Manpower management resembles supervisors, junior officers, and workers.
  • Giving training to the animal assistant and artificial insemination service providers.
  • Working on effective implementation of ISO 9001:2015.
  • Any other project-related works assigned by the supervisor.
