Partly qualified CA (CA-CC), ACCA, or CMA will be a strong advantage.

Responsibilities & Context
Responsibilities:
Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, reports and records in line with company policies and regulatory standards.
Handle day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger management, journal entries, bank reconciliations and account reconciliations.
Manage accounts payable and receivable with accuracy and ensure timely settlements.
Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis to support strategic financial planning.
Ensure timely submission of VAT, TDS, AIT and other statutory filings as per compliance requirements.
Ensuring proper documentation and financial transparency.
Liaise with banks, financial institutions and regulatory authorities as needed.
Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management to support key decision-making.
Ensure all legal documentation, trade licenses and certificates are updated and valid.
Lead and support financial audit processes, ensuring all taxation matters are accurately handled.
Supervise and guide the accounts team, demonstrating effective team-building and leadership capabilities.
Maintain and update all entries and reports in the software.
Take ownership of process improvements and automation initiatives within the accounts function.
Report directly to the Chief Operating Officer, providing regular financial updates and escalations when needed.
