Requirements

Education
  • Masters
  • A Master's degree is required
Experience
  • At least 7 years
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
    University
Additional Requirements
  • A minimum of 7-10 years experience in higher education administration. Career services or Counseling experience preferred.
  • Candidates having English language skills and foreign experience will be preferable.

Experience requirement:

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in basic mathematics, including budgeting and statistical analysis.       
  • Ability to apply logical thinking and problem-solving skills to various challenges.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Responsibilities & Context

  • Act as the primary link between students and employers, analyzing emerging employment trends and ensuring that students are adequately prepared for the job market. Build and manage relationships with alums, fostering lifelong, mutually supportive connections.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to shape the educational experience and ensure career service efforts align with employer expectations.
  • Provide expert career support to students and alums in career planning and job search. Conduct workshops, seminars, and events to enhance employability skills and offer opportunities for professional development.
  • Supervise on-campus recruitment, resume referrals, job listings, and interview processes for students and alums. Ensure seamless coordination with academic departments to meet internship and employment needs.
  • Assist students in career decision-making by identifying competencies, interests, and values.
  • Prepare students for employment by developing essential job search skills, including resume building, interview preparation, and career planning.
  • Encourage experiential learning opportunities for students through student activities, community service, and internships.
  • Collaborate with faculty, staff, and administration to coordinate career programs and participate in committees when required.
  • Build connections with professional organizations and employers and coordinate career events such as career fairs and workshops.
  • Participate in budget planning, strategic direction, and data collection for job placement and graduate school admission statistics.
  • Regularly arrange job fairs.
