Candidates must possess a Master's degree along with a 4-year Honors degree in Agriculture, Fisheries, or Livelihood from a reputed university. Preference will be given to candidates with prior experience in a similar role within the NGO sector.
Having 3rd division/class/equivalent CGPA in any examination will incur ineligibility.

Rural Reconstruction Foundation (RRF) is a National level Non-Governmental voluntary Development Organization. Which is working since 1982 for the underprivileged community in many development segments. RRF invites applications from competent candidates for the following position under the project titled “Resilient Homestead and Livelihood Support to the Vulnerable Coastal People of Bangladesh (RHL)”, RRF will be implemented the RHL project in Morrelganj Upazila of Bagerhat District as a partner Organization of PKSF.
Job Responsibilities:
Focal Point Role: Act as the focal person for implementing livelihood activities conducted by partner organizations. Develop and execute work plans as the primary officer responsible for project implementation.
Household Visits: Conduct daily visits to five households, accompanied by the Assistant Technical Officer (ATO) - Livelihood. Independently monitor households and ATO's activities as required, providing necessary guidance and recommendations. Focus on promising income-generating activities (IGAs) and strategize their expansion or replication.
Village Committee Visits: Visit four village committees weekly to guide ultra-poor members on effectively executing IGAs and increasing family income. Conduct awareness sessions during visits.
Training Supervision: Oversee and guide ATO-Livelihood in organizing agricultural and non-agricultural training sessions. Initially establish communication with trainers and conduct sessions on agricultural training. Monitor the effectiveness of training activities.
Approval and Supervision of IGAs: Approve IGAs proposed by members, actively participate in material selection and procurement, and ensure the timely and adequate delivery of resources to beneficiaries.
Club and Forum Visits: Visit one adolescent club weekly, one mother-and-child forum every 15 days, and one community clinic monthly to monitor activities.
Nutrition Garden Monitoring: Conduct daily visits to nutrition gardens, including "Grandparent's Nutrition Garden," "Golden Children's Nutrition Garden," "Our Nutrition Garden," and others established under various forums. Collaborate with ATO-Livelihood during these visits.
Participation in Field Days: Attend field days organized for agriculture, livestock, and fisheries, determining the frequency based on the allocation. Receive support from ATO-Livelihood for these events.
Seed Distribution Supervision: Play a key role in distributing seeds to members before the Rabi, Kharif-1, and Kharif-2 seasons as part of the PEPPE-EU project. Conduct this activity every three months with meticulous oversight.
Livestock Vaccination and Deworming Camps: Supervise and ensure smooth management of vaccination and deworming camps for livestock held in March-April and November-December.
Monitoring ATO Activities: Assign tasks to Assistant Technical Officers (Livelihood) and follow up on their activities. Regularly update the Project Coordinator on their progress.
Post-Training Support: Provide ongoing issue-based advisory services to trained beneficiaries, ensuring the practical application of training insights in the field.
Stakeholder Engagement: Establish connections with government and private organizations to address members' challenges in agriculture, livestock, and fisheries. Encourage members to seek expert advice when necessary.
Market Linkage Facilitation: Connect local farmers with institutional or bulk buyers to enhance market opportunities.
Disability-Inclusive Activities: Monitor the implementation of disability-related initiatives funded by PKSF. Identify and implement sustainable IGAs for persons with disabilities and arrange applicable training. Act as the focal person for disability-related activities and maintain updated records.
Disaster Management: Supervise the implementation of disaster-related activities funded by PKSF. Organize training to support sustainable IGAs for disaster resilience and ensure effective use of training by beneficiaries. Collect and maintain records of disaster-related activities. Facilitate access to government and non-government disaster management resources.
Community Mobilization: Ensure effective implementation of PKSF-funded community mobilization activities. Facilitate beneficiary access to government social safety net programs and encourage members to participate in social issue-based initiatives.
Daily Reporting: Maintain daily activity records, including details of visited groups.
Reporting: Report to the Project Coordinator and be accountable for fulfilling the responsibilities assigned as a Program Officer (Livelihood).
Liaison with Government Departments: Establish and supervise connections with Upazila-level agricultural, livestock, and fisheries departments, with assistance from ATO-Livelihood.
Other Duties: Perform any other responsibilities assigned by the organization.
