Job Description

Requirements

Education
  • The candidate must have BSc in Automobile/ Mechanical Engineering with minimum CGPA 2.50 or 2nd class/ division or equivalent result in all academic examinations.
Experience
  • At least 2 years
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
    Manufacturing (FMCG), Retail Store, NGO, Agro based firms (incl. Agro Processing/Seed/GM), Packaging Industry, Livestock, Dairy
Additional Requirements
  • Education and Experience will be relaxed for the potential candidates

  • Experience in same field will be given preference

  • Knowledge on Automobile system and components, workshop Operation, Health and Safety Compliance

  • Required skill: Technical diagnostic and repair, Time management and customer focused, Good Communication and interpersonal skills, Analytical ability, problem solving and reporting, Self-motivated and people management skills

  • Required competencies: Leadership and Team work, Safety mindset, Ability to carry out assigned tasks independently, Demonstrating/safeguarding ethics and integrity, Relationship Building, Work prioritizing

  • Must have using capabilities of MS Office

  • Able to work under stress situation


Responsibilities & Context

  • Maintain the routine of vehicle/ equipment repair, repair logs and conduct inspections on completed work

  • Provide services on time following quality standards

  • Ensure vehicle repair on time; proper usage and maintenance of workshop tools, equipment, and facilities

  • Manage inventory of spare parts and materials

  • To purchase the parts of the vehicle, coordinate with the respective departments

  • Conduct regular safety checks and ensure that employees use personal protective equipment (PPE) appropriately

  • Ensure the preventive Maintenance System according to the schedule

  • To take emergency steps to solve the problems whenever breakdown occurs on the road

  • Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment

  • Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action

  • Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so

  • Perform any other jobs as assigned by the management
