The Compliance & Safety Manager is responsible for ensuring the organization complies with all applicable labor laws, regulations, and standards set by the Bangladesh Labor Authority. The role also involves implementing and monitoring workplace safety policies, fostering a culture of compliance, and ensuring the well-being of employees.
Develop, implement, and monitor workplace safety policies and programs.
Conduct regular risk assessments and safety audits to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
Organize training sessions on workplace safety, fire drills, and emergency preparedness.
Ensure compliance with Bangladesh labor laws, rules, and regulations set by the Bangladesh Labor Authority (BLA).
Prepare and submit reports to the Bangladesh Labor Authority as required.
Maintain accurate records of compliance activities, safety incidents, and corrective actions.
Investigate and address any non-compliance issues, ensuring prompt resolution.
Act as a liaison between management and employees on compliance-related matters.
Promote a culture of safety and compliance through regular communication and awareness programs.
Conduct training programs for employees and management on labor compliance and workplace safety.
Ensure all staff are well-informed about their rights, responsibilities, and safety protocols.
Collaborate with government agencies, external auditors, and other stakeholders on labor and safety matters.
Represent the organization in compliance-related forums and meetings.
