Job Description

Requirements

Education
  • Diploma (Vocational), Diploma in Textile Engineering
  • Minimum HSC/Diploma (Vocational) with five years practical experience in relevant trade and minimum 2nd Division in all examinations.
Experience
  • 3 to 5 years
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
    Training Institutes, NGO, Development Agency, Garments Accessories
Additional Requirements
  • Age at most 45 years
  • 3 (three) years’ experience from any reputable institution or university with good academic records in woven sewing machine operation trades or courses.
  • Excellent command of communication skills in both Bangla and English.
  • Has excellent computer operating skills and is conversant with the MS Office package.
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, a team player, and passionate for social development work.
  • Must be at least a holder of NSC in woven sewing machine operation, NSQF Level 2 to 3 or above, and have at least 3 years of teaching experience in the relevant field. Must have a CBT&A Methodology Level 4 certificate.

Responsibilities & Context

Trainer (Woven Sewing Machine Operation) (Females will have higher priority)

  • To instruct the pupils in accordance with the NSDA's curricula and academic timetables.
  • To create a workshop or laboratory lesson plan and instruction sheet.
  • To supervise or monitor the work or tasks of the students in the classes.
  • To represent the additional support in making a concept or subject issue.
  • To associate the students with co-curricular activities.
  • To motivate and counsel students to ensure regular attendance in the class. Communicate with parents or guardians in relevant cases.
  • To maintain students' profiles and examination records.
  • Need to visit field areas based on the requirement.
  • To prepare and maintain documents related to NSDA as per requirement.
  • To make effective use or reuse of teaching resources, equipment, etc.
  • To conduct periodic maintenance of the teaching equipment in a timely manner.
  • To maintain total secrecy and confidentiality with respect to institutional affairs and uphold the dignity of the institution.
  • To perform any other duties and responsibilities as required and assigned by the ADRA Bangladesh SSWIM Projects authority. He or she must be able to teach eight hours a day excluding the lunch hour.
