Responsibilities & Context

  • Manage a team of software developers, including assigning tasks, providing technical guidance, and performance reviews. 
  • Foster a collaborative environment to encourage creativity and problem-solving within the development team. 
  • Evaluate and select appropriate technologies, frameworks, and architecture for e-commerce platform development. 
  • Ensure code quality, maintainability, and adherence to best practices. 
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive e-commerce software development roadmap aligned with business objectives and market trends.
  • Identify areas for improvement and prioritize new features based on user feedback and data analysis. 
  • Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimizations for scalability and speed.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across marketing, sales, and operations to understand their needs and incorporate them into the development plan.
  • Define product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria for new features and functionalities. 
  • Work closely with designers to ensure a user-friendly and visually appealing interface. 
  • Oversee the development lifecycle from requirement gathering to testing, deployment, and post-launch maintenance.
