Requirements

Education
  • Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Accounting, Master of Science (MSc) in Finance & Banking, Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Accounting, Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Finance & Banking
Experience
  • 2 to 4 years
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
    Manufacturing (Light Engineering and Heavy Industry), Group of Companies, LPG Gas/Cylinder Gas

Responsibilities & Context

Financial Planning & Analysis:

  • Prepare and analyze financial statements in compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
  • Perform financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting activities to optimize financial performance.
  • Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and yearly budgets & financial statements for the company.

Accounting Operations & Compliance:

  • Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger entries.
  • Thorough in Expense & Income Accounts Statement, Profit & Loss Account, Trial Balance, Balance Sheet, Pre-shipment & Post-shipment Costing, Order-wise Job Costing, Monitoring Store Inventory & Purchase.
  • Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets and mitigate financial risks.
  • Stay updated on changes in financial regulations and accounting standards to ensure compliance.

Banking & Financial Management:

  • Maintain banking facilities with lien banks, taking initiatives for arranging funds, balancing between short-term & long-term assets and liabilities, and ensuring debt servicing within deadlines.

Audit & External Coordination:

  • Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory agencies during audits and examinations.

Strategic Decision-Making & Leadership:

  • Provide strategic financial guidance to senior management to support decision-making and drive business growth.
  • Train and mentor junior staff members to develop their skills and knowledge in accounting practices.
