The roles and responsibilities of the Janitor includes, but are not limited to, the following duties:

Assign cleaning tasks to other janitorial staff, monitor work quality, and provide training and guidance.
Perform a variety of cleaning tasks including sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, dusting, waxing floors and cleaning all areas of establishment.
Identify and report maintenance issues, like changing light bulbs, unclogging drains, and plumbing issues.
Collect and dispose of trash and recyclables, ensuring proper waste disposal procedures are followed.
Maintain cleaning supply stock, order new supplies as needed, and ensure proper storage.
Adhere to all safety protocols, including proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
Perform other reasonable job duties as instructed by the Facilities Manager.
