Requirements

Education
  • Masters or Bachelor Degree in any Discipline and bachelor degree in hospitality Management.

Experience
  • 5 to 7 years
Additional Requirements
  • Age at most 35 years
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Competency in managing time and solving everyday problems.
  • Customer-oriented mindset with a passion for providing exceptional service.
  • Fluency in English language
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (MS Word and MS Excel).
  • Physical Features: Sound Health, energetic and presentable.

Responsibilities & Context

  • Ensures Outstanding customer care at all times.

  • Approves assigned employee payroll documents, payables.

  • Directly supervises, and manages the business activity of the hotel.

  • Creates, monitors, and reviews a variety of business reports such as sales reports, inventory reports, budget reports

  • Meet or exceed Gross Operating Profit (GOP) and flow through goals.

  • Develop and monitor the performance of financial and operational plans/budgets and sales and marketing plans for the hotel which support the overall objectives of the corporation.

  • Achieve and maintain Overall Satisfaction Score (OSS) goals

  • Ensure that food and beverage profitability and revenue goals are met or exceeded by ensuring optimal use of banquet/outlet space and the cost effective management of the hotel's food and beverage outlets.

  • Achieve satisfactory results on internal audits and Controls Self-Assessment (CSA).

  • Actively promote employee participation in the Employee Satisfaction Pulse Survey (ESPS).

  • Maximize individual potential through a positive commitment to training and development and succession planning at all levels, in order to meet current and future hotel staffing demands addressing business issues.

  • Takes responsibility in the absence of the Hotel Manager and Assistant Hotel Manager.

  • Produces hotel front desk schedules

  • Participates in the budget and forecast reporting

  • Ensures time and attendance policies and payroll are accurately reflected.

  • Attends meetings as required.

  • Ensures front desk supplies are stocked and computer equipment functioning properly.

  • Oversees the business center and ensures the area is clean and guest ready at all times.

  • Performs other duties as assigned, requested or deemed necessary by management.
