Requirements

Education
  • Essential 4 years of bachelor’s degree in administration / human resources management / business management or related studies.
Experience
  • At least 2 years
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
    NGO
Additional Requirements
  • Essential previous working experience of at least two years in Human Resource
  • Management or related field.
  • Desirable previous experience in supervision of a small team
  • Desirable experience in MSF or other NGOs in developing countries.
  • Fluency in English and Bengali is essential.
  • Fluency in Chittagonian dialect is essential.

Responsibilities & Context

Execute administrative, HR and legal related tasks to support the Project HR Manager following MSF standards and procedures, in order to ensure legal compliance and to realize the HR capacity required to achieve project objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Under supervision of the Project HR Manager managing personal files in order to ensure accuracy, compliance and on time payments. Updating the HR database and personal files to facilitate HR processes management.
  • Updating Social security Tax office files to meet legal requirements including specific amendments when necessary to ensure local labour and fiscal law compliance Preparing employment contracts in conformity with legal requirements including specific amendments, when necessary, to ensure local labour and fiscal law compliance.
  • Preparing monthly pay slips for all staff, editing and updating the necessary data, to ensure the punctuality and accuracy of staff payroll.
  • Following up of all expiring rental contract dates and inform the Administration Manager in order to leave enough time to arrange a renewal or look for some other alternative
  • Making all administrative information available to the staff (posting, meetings, etc.), supporting the Project HR Manager in translating documents into local language and assisting in meetings upon request.
  • Additional HR/Admin tasks delegated by the Project HR Manager and within a scope of work for HR Assistant.

MSF Section/Context Specific Accountabilities:

  • Perform the first check of all the HR documents received from other departments before validation of the project HR manager.
  • Keep the HR Data base (HOMERE) up to date with accurate data on a regular basis encoding and uploading the necessary information, event and documents.
  • Perform monthly quick audit both in HOMERE and PERSONNEL FILE and update if data is missing or to correct the necessary discrepencies.
  • Responsible to liaise with LnD Specialist for induction of new employees, preparation of onboarding, trainings, etc.
  • Assistance with recruitment.Supervise the team (cook, cleaner) under his/ her responsibility.
