Education

Experience

    Manufacturing (FMCG), Manufacturing (Light Engineering and Heavy Industry), Cement Industry, Paint, Steel

Responsibilities & Context

Job Context:

  • Uphold the core values and cultural principles of the Heidelberg Materials

  • Plan, execute, evaluate, and adapt the Area Market and Sales Management Plan

  • Building team culture and people development

  • Cascade Commercial Excellence initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategies: Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve our sales objectives/plan and revenues.

  • Plan & Forecasting: In line with regional operational & strategic plan.

  • Pricing: Delivering threshold Net Sales Price maintaining price harmony in each market/area.

  • Credit Management: Leading area CM and minimizing HM credit exposure in line with HM credit policy.

  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key Customers & decision makers, Market stakeholders, strategic partners, Influencers, and cross-functional teams and promote team culture within the sales & cross-functional teams.

  • Business Development: New market opportunities, new product & services deployment, Distribution Expansion

  • Demand generation: Allocation of allocated promotions to maximize the impact.

  • Resource Planning & Leading: Resource planning, leading, and managing the sales teams (Sales Promoter, Distributors' sales & logistics staff), providing guidance, coaching, and support to drive high performance and exceed sales targets.

  • Reporting: Monitor and analyze market & sales performance metrics to stay abreast of industry trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape and provide regular reports and insights.

  • To lead, engage, empower, coach, inspire, train, educate, and develop the team members.

  • Ensure Health, Safety, and environmental policy requirements are strictly fulfilled.

  • Ensure compliance with country laws, and regulations in company activities, Group and company policies, guidelines/standards like prevention of corruption, competition law, Human rights, etc. and implement company cultural & leadership principles.

  • Any other relevant tasks (as may be) assigned by the superior as and when required.
