Requirements

Education
  • The ideal candidate wiith HSC/Graduate should have at least 10 years of relevant work experience as a Sample Garment Technician in any buying House or production factory.

Experience
  • At least 10 years
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
    Garments
Additional Requirements
  • Age at most 45 years
  • Strong Knowledge of pattern grading, CAD marker, fabric construction, fabric quality, tests, seam strength & shrinkage performance etc.

  • He Should have experience in both Knit and Woven, pattern making, quality control / audit, basics on recommended sample and wash garments and experienced in CAD manual pattern amendment, pre-production technical and quality management etc.

  • He should have thorough knowledge about garment measurement and ability to brief the total technical issues of the recommended sample to the buyers, management and non-technical people. Advance level skill in CAD SOFTWARE and IT specially in PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook etc.


Responsibilities & Context

BSA Group of Companies for its 100% export oriented RMG sector producing and supplying woven and knit garments (Top and Bottom) is looking for SAMPLE INCHARGE in the rank of Manager (SAMPLE) for ensuring the accurate sample with measurement and quality before the bulk commercial production. The position is Chattogram based.

He should responsible in the following area:

  • Handle customer technical inquiries and necessary troubleshooting independently
  • Oversee the entire sample development process, from concept to completion.
  • To Check the Sketch sample & Make the Sample as per the Buyer Requirement and ensure quality control measures throughout the sample development process to ensure that samples meet its buyer requirement or exceed the expectations.
  • Maintain sample development timelines to ensure samples are completed within agreed deadlines.
  • Regularly evaluate and rationalized the sample development processes to increase efficiency and productivity.
  • Conduct In-line Audit, an in-process audit in sewing, finishing, and packing.
  • Prepare design sample, size set, fit sample, red seal & gold seal samples upon received from the buyer.
  • To ensure that quality samples are prepared and the same samples are given to the concerned section so that they can maintain the required standard.
  • To ensure that any change made in the previously approved sample is communicated to the concerned persons/dept. timely.
  • Provide training and guidance to sample development team members to enhance their skills.
  • Other assignments assigned by the management.
