Job Description

Requirements

Education
  • Post-Graduation from any reputed university with no Third Division/Class 
Additional Requirements
  • Age at most 35 years
  • Minimum 02 (two) years’ experience in SME Asset/ Retail Home Loan Sales in reputed banks /FIs
  • Employees currently working in contractual positions at other Bank/ FIs in similar role are encouraged to apply
  • Candidate without experience/ fresh candidate need not to apply
  • Strong knowledge in banking/ financial services, SME Asset and Retail Home Loan Products and compliances
  • Knowledge on regulatory framework, Credit Appraisal, ICRRS and Prudential Guidelines on SME Businesses
  • Experience of working in centralized environment and real time on-line banking will be an added advantage
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, public relationship, team building and people management skills
  • Sufficient knowledge to operate Microsoft Office Applications

Job Context

  • Position: Trainee Assistant Officer (TAO) to Assistant Officer (AO)  
  • Position will be offered to the deserving candidates on the basis of experience and competence
  • Candidates with relevant experience in SME Small Business (Asset), and
  • Candidates with relevant experience in Home Loan Sales Key/Job

Responsibilities

  • To achieve monthly/ yearly set SME Small Business Asset target /Retail Home Loan Business target in terms of sales volume and number of accounts to develop own portfolio
  • Maintaining quality asset through effective retention and prioritizing relationships, having appropriate relationship management plan & taking consultative approach to understand client's objectives, effective identification of financial needs, offering financial solutions
  • To develop sales strategies for product channels and managing existing portfolio health
  • Monitor proper utilization of investment facilities in Small Business and maintain the quality of risk assets and ensure periodic review of the facilities
  • Prepare proposal through evaluating customer investment applications using a range of criteria including purpose of application, property/developer details, investment viability, customer payment history, customer credit-worthiness etc.
  • Maintain an in-depth knowledge of the customer's business/profession/ through regular customer visits and industry research
  • Promote marketing initiatives and events with developer companies and stakeholders
  • Manage and control Non-Performing Asset (NPA) overdue prudently
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures and external regulatory requirements
  • To follow and maintain the compliance of all types and policies of the competent authorities
