Requirements

Education
  • MCom or Masters in relevant subject but in terms of widely practical working experiences with NGO accounts bachelor degree and subject can be relaxed.

Experience
  • At least 2 years
Additional Requirements
  • Age at most 45 years
  • Desirable Criteria : Accounts management, Budget preparation, financial report preparation, Cash management, Stock management, knowledge about VAT and Tax. Generate computerized report (Tally), Computer and communication skill.

  • Experience : Minimum 2 years of working experience in NGOs.


Responsibilities & Context

Project : JJS- Capacity building of Children and Communities for Protection of children from sexual abuse and drag addiction

Project period : 31 March 2026

Travel allowance : Actual

Age limitation : Age should be under or equal 45. Age will be relaxed in terms of highly qualified candidates.

Major Role & Responsibilities

  • Regularly check the financial obligation such as; payment of different taxes and regularly provides the tax clearance letter to the staff, consultant and others parties, Collection of bank reconciliation and fund request submission.

  • Timely verifying and keep updated fixed assets of the project.

  • Maintain the records of the purchase orders and goods purchased under the same and hand over the goods to the concern staff in proper way and time after maintaining the record.

  • Ensure compliance of financial rules in the purchase of goods and services.

  • Supervise the petty cash of all the departments and ensure that they are kept as per the rule of Financial Guidelines. Keep updated records of the administrative activities and institutional documents.

  • Coordinate and keep updated the records such as; proposal, budget, annual plan and their substantive/completion progress and financial reports.

  • Coordinate with Program Officers or Coordinators for timely submission of the reports and other necessary documents to the concerned Donor Agency.

  • Coordinate for renewal of the institution, vehicles, house contracts etc.,

  • Regularly check the log book of vehicle use and telephone bills and ensure their proper use as well as payment.

  • Perform any other relevant tasks as assigned by the senior management.
