Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Mechanical Engineering
  • Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical background will also get preferance

Experience
  • 2 to 3 years
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
    Group of Companies
Additional Requirements
  • Communication skill: Writing and speaking in English

  • Technical knowledge: Electrical/Mechanical

  • Sourcing knowledge

  • Computer skill: Excel, Power point

  • Knowledge on Letter of Credit, Customs rules, HS Code, Import policy.

  • Should possess positive attitude, dynamic and punctual


Responsibilities & Context

1. Coordinate with Production/Factory:

  • Receive and review material/equipment requisitions from all departments.
  • Ensure timely supply of materials and equipment to meet production schedules.

2. Sourcing and Procurement:

  • Source and evaluate potential suppliers for required materials and equipment.
  • Negotiate and secure competitive pricing and favorable delivery terms.
  • Prepare comparative statements for capital machinery and spare parts, highlighting cost-effectiveness and vendor reliability.

3. Order Placement & Logistics:

  • Place work orders with selected vendors upon management approval. 
  • Prepare and issue Proforma Invoice (PI) in compliance with company policies and local regulations.
  • Coordinate with the banking team for Letter of Credit (LC) or Telegraphic Transfer (TT) related matters. 
  • Monitor order execution and ensure timely delivery by the vendor.
  • Track and trace shipments and associated commercial documents throughout the supply chain.

4. Import & Customs Clearance: 

  • Coordinate with Customs Clearing & Forwarding (C&F) agents for efficient and timely delivery.
  • Obtain necessary permits, licenses, and certifications from relevant authorities.

5. Vendor Management:

  • Maintain good relationships with suppliers and build strong vendor networks.
  • Resolve any issues or discrepancies related to orders, deliveries, or payments.

6. Record Keeping & Reporting: 

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all activities.
  • Prepare and submit timely reports to the supervisor on job progress, challenges, and performance.
  • 7. Perform any other duties as assigned by management.
