Requirements

Education
  • Diploma in Medical Technology
Experience
  • 2 to 6 years
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
    Hospital, Diagnostic Centre, Healthcare Startup
Additional Requirements
  • Age 20 to 30 years

Responsibilities & Context

  • Conduct Laboratory Tests: Perform a wide range of laboratory tests, including hematology, microbiology, chemistry, and immunology, following established procedures and protocols.
  • Operate Equipment: Use and maintain sophisticated laboratory instruments and equipment to conduct tests accurately.
  • Analyze Test Results: Review, interpret, and validate test results, ensuring they are accurate and meet quality control standards.
  • Document Findings: Record test results in laboratory information systems and communicate results to physicians and healthcare providers.
  • Quality Control: Perform regular quality control checks on equipment, reagents, and test results to ensure accuracy and precision.
  • Maintain Lab Supplies: Order and restock laboratory supplies, ensuring the lab is well-equipped for daily operations.
  • Safety Protocols: Follow all safety and infection control guidelines to ensure the safety of patients, staff, and visitors.
  • Troubleshoot Issues: Identify and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions or inconsistencies in test results, and report to supervisors or equipment technicians.
  • Collaborate with Healthcare Team: Work closely with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide accurate test results and contribute to patient care.
  • Stay Updated: Continuously update knowledge and skills by participating in continuing education opportunities, including certifications and workshops.
  • Professional Development: Stay current with advances in laboratory medicine and technology by attending continuing education courses, workshops, and seminars.
