Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), Bachelor of Science (BSc), Master of Business Administration (MBA), Master of Science (MSc)

  • Additional certifications in SAP or PLM systems are a plus.

Experience
  • 2 to 6 years
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
    Manufacturing (FMCG), BPO/ Data Entry Firm, Multinational Companies, Garments, Group of Companies, Garments Accessories, Sweater Industry, Inventory/Warehouse, Supply Chain
Additional Requirements
  • Age 25 to 35 years
  • Data accuracy and completeness rates.
  • Reduction in data-related errors or issues.
  • Timeliness of master data updates and maintenance.
  • User satisfaction with data quality and system performance.
  • Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong understanding of SAP PLM functionality and data structures.
  • Expertise in master data management principles and best practices.
  • Knowledge of product development lifecycle and related business processes.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve data quality issues.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and reporting capabilities.
  • Excellent in English communication (Speaking, Writing and Reading)

Responsibilities & Context

Job Summary:

The Master Data PLM and SAP Officer is responsible for managing and maintaining master data within the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and SAP systems. This role ensures data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across the organization, supporting business processes and decision-making. The officer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that master data aligns with business requirements and complies with organizational standards.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Create, update, and maintain master data (e.g., material master, vendor master, customer master, BOMs, etc.) in SAP and PLM systems.
  • Establishing and enforcing master data standards and quality rules within the SAP PLM system, including data attributes, validation checks, and data cleansing processes.
  • Defining data ownership and accountability across different departments to ensure data integrity.
  • Monitoring data quality and identifying areas for improvement through regular data audits.
  • Gathering product information from various sources (engineering, marketing, manufacturing) and accurately inputting it into the SAP PLM system.
  • Managing the lifecycle of product master data, including creating new product records, updating existing data, and retiring obsolete products.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure data consistency across different SAP modules (e.g., sales, production planning).
  • Identifying and resolving data discrepancies or conflicts within the PLM system.
  • Investigating and addressing root causes of data quality issues.
  • Communicating data quality concerns to relevant stakeholders and coordinating necessary corrective actions.
  • Maintaining and configuring SAP PLM system settings related to master data management.
  • Implementing data migration processes to update the PLM system with new product information.
