Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Finance or Accounting (Mandatory).

Experience
  • At least 3 years
Additional Requirements
  • Candidates with professional qualifications such as CA (Knowledge Level/Intermediate Level/PE-I), CMA, CIA, or CFA will be given preference.

  • Experience Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a relevant financial or accounting role.

  • Automobile Servicing industry experience will get a preference

  • Additional Requirements

  • Proficient in software applications like MS Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).

  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail and the ability to probe further into financial data.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Job Context

E2S Automobiles Ltd is seeking a Manager of Finance & Accounts to lead our financial operations and ensure seamless execution of financial policies, strategies, and compliance. This role requires expertise in accounting, budget management, cash flow oversight, strategic planning, and treasury management aimed at driving the company’s financial efficiency while adhering to regulatory standards and industry best practices.

The Manager of Finance & Accounts will oversee a dynamic Finance and Accounts Department dedicated to managing financial tracking, planning, analysis, and optimization. The ideal candidate will have a sharp eye for detail, a strategic mindset, and the ability to collaborate across teams to ensure the company remains financially agile.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Management & Reporting

  • Maintain and monitor the workshop’s financial records (sales, expenses, inventory, payroll).
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
  • Track and analyze workshop profitability and suggest cost-cutting measures.
  • Manage budgeting and forecasting for business growth.

Accounting & Bookkeeping

  • Ensure proper recording of all financial transactions following Bangladeshi accounting standards.
  • Oversee accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely collections and payments.
  • Manage bank reconciliations and cash flow.
  • Work with auditors for internal and external audits.
  • 3. Taxation & Compliance
  • Ensure compliance with Bangladesh VAT, AIT (Advance Income Tax), and corporate tax regulations.
  • Timely filing of VAT returns, tax returns, and other statutory obligations.
  • Maintain proper documentation for tax audits and compliance checks.

Cost Control & Expense Management

  • Analyze workshop operational costs (spare parts, labor, rent, utilities).
  • Identify and reduce unnecessary expenditures.
  • Negotiate with vendors and suppliers for better pricing on spare parts and tools.

Payroll & Employee Benefits Management

  • Oversee salary disbursement and compliance with labor laws.
  • Manage employee benefits, incentives, and bonuses.
  • Ensure proper payroll tax deduction and payment.

Digital & System Management

  • Implement and manage accounting software (Tally, QuickBooks, or local ERP systems).
  • Ensure proper record-keeping and data security.

Coordination & Stakeholder Management

  • Work closely with the workshop manager and technicians to align financial goals with operations.
  • Liaise with banks, financial institutions, tax authorities, and regulatory bodies.
  • Communicate financial insights to the business owner or senior management.
