Masters in any discipline from any reputed university.
Additional certifications in compliance, auditing, or related areas are highly preferred.
6 – 8 years of experience in conducting factory audits and managing compliance programs in RMG industry/sector.
Candidates having experience in EPZ factories will get preference.
Must have basic knowledge on installation and maintenance of, PA System Fire Alarm, Smoke Detector, Addressable and Fire Hydrant and Sprinkler System.
Ensure the safety of working people through compliance with Occupational Safety and Environmental Regulations.
Have to monitor and ensure daily floor basic health and safety standards.
Can make sure compliance audit CAP issues are sorted out.
Social audit preparation and make sure the factory is ready to face any audit including environmental audit.
Must have experience on Social & environmental audit.
Sound knowledge on BLA-2006,EPZ Labor Act-2019 and EPZ Labor Rules.
Responsibilities & Context:
To supervise the overall functions of the Compliance Department
Handle comprehensive factory audits in alignment with various industry standards including but not limited to SEDEX, WRAP, C-TPAT, ISO, GRS, GOTS, ICS and HIGG Index, ensuring adherence to social, ethical, environmental, technical, and supply chain security parameters.
Closing of pending NCS & prepare audit CAP Report, inform buyer about the updated status of CAP and follow up the reports.
Implement and oversee compliance programs, ensuring the company’s operations comply with buyers’ Code of Conduct (COC) and relevant regulatory requirements.
Implementation of all fire and safety requirements as per guidelines of BNBC, ACCORD (RSC), Alliance (Nirapon) & NFPA Guideline & fire rules and regulations.
To handle RSC/NIRAPON audit and CAP management accordingly.
Manage and oversee environmental and sustainability issues.
Keep update all kinds of factory documents according to legal compliance & buyers COC.
To review and update various policy & procedure and manual/material in connection with buyer’s requirement.
To Ensure and monitor regular health & safety issues of the factory through team.
Check and Review documents on Conducted Internal Training/Awareness Records, records of Sustainability related activities (Legal issues, Occupational, Environmental, Health & Safety and Fire Safety and Sustainability Standard) ensure documentations
To prepare necessary documents for various audit as per customer requirements
Coordinate environmental sustainability initiatives i.e. water saving, energy saving, waste management, etc.
Implement BEPZA / Industrial laws, International labor Organization laws and buyers COC.
Responsible to full fill the requirements of EMS & QMS based on the requirements of ISO 14001:2015 (EMS) & ISO 9001:2015 (QMS).
Maintaining employees’ discipline & conducting training as per requirement.
Regular monitoring of all compliance status in line with buyer's requirements adhering to relevant laws of the country and international standards.
To follow-up & to ensure timely implementation of all CAP given.
