Requirements

Education
  • Master of Commerce (MCom), Master of Business Administration (MBA)
Experience
  • At least 10 years
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
    Multinational Companies, Cosmetics/Toiletries/Personal Care, Group of Companies, Handicraft
Additional Requirements
  • Age at least 35 years
  • Experience in a similar type of position, preferably in a 100% export-oriented multinational companies located in Economic Zone or Export Processing Zone.

  • Master of Business Administration (MBA) – major on SCM or International business or accounting/Finance.

  • Bachelor of Business Administration(BBA) – Major in Accounting or Finance.

  • PGD on SCM or Logistics or Procurement management will get preference.

  • In-depth understanding of local and international export & import regulations and compliance requirements.

  • Proficiency in office management tools and good presentation skill.Excellent Oral & Written communication skill in English.

Context

ARTNATURE BANGLADESH LIMITED. is located at Bangladesh Specialized Economic Zone, Araihazar, Narayanganj-1460, Bangladeash and is engaged in the business of manufacturing, processing, exporting and importing of hairpieces such as toupees, wigs, wiglets and the like including hair accessories and ornaments, all makes and kinds as well as any all materials including human hair and synthetic hair supplies. To support our new plant at BSEZ, we are looking for candidates who are interested to join in the mentioned position and want to be a part of the company from it’s beginning of operation in Bangladesh.

Responsibilities

  • Independently develop, lead and mentor a team of commercial professionals of the company.
  • Oversee and streamline import-export operations while ensuring full compliance with regulations of BEZA, BIDA, NBR, BSEZ, EPB and Customs.
  • Establish and sustain strategic partnerships with financial institutions, customs authorities, regulatory bodies and senior management to ensure seamless commercial operations.
  • Manage and supervise all bond-related operations, including banking coordination, in-bond and ex-bond procedures, Utilization Permission (UP), Utilization Declaration (UD) and capacity expansion initiatives.
  • Liaise with suppliers, C&F agents, and logistics partners to ensure timely, cost-efficient goods movement.
  • Execute all banking formalities, including L/C opening, amendments, import/export documentation and compliance with bonded warehouse agreements.
  • Monitor customs clearance, Customs Duty Assessment, Bill of Entry, SRO and ensure the proper HS code selection for duty optimization.
  • Communicate with production and logistics teams for timely delivery of goods from ports to the factory.
  • Obtain & renewal of all business licenses including Trade License, Bond license, IRC, ERC, Factory, Fire, Generator, investment clearance, membership Certificates etc.
  • Negotiate and finalize shipping contracts and freight forwarder agreements to optimize logistics costs.
  • Communicate with shipping line, Forwarder & C&F for smooth clearance of imported and exported goods.
  • Develop and execute commercial strategies aligned with the company’s goals and objectives.
  • Manage contracts with vendors and suppliers, monitoring performance and resolving disputes.
  • Generate and submit commercial reports, including export status, payment tracking for imports-exports and ensuring timely documentation for financial compliance.Timely update of OSS, BSW and other relevant database.
  • Responsible for maintaining export-import database and providing accurate and fully compliant financial & commercial information to the banking partners, internal or external auditors and other external government & private agencies as required.
  • Proactive discussion with relevant authorities on customs, chief controller of export & import, handling external audits/ disputes/appeals and maintaining good relations with them.
  • Completing statements & collecting related documents for submitting monthly VAT returns on time to the VAT office.
  • Other assigned task by the superior as and when required.
