Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor/Honors, Masters
  • Bachelor’s degree and Master’s degree in Accounting and Finance

  • Professional Certification and Training in Accounting and Finance and/or CA, CPA, ACCA or equivalent certification

Experience
  • 5 to 10 years
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
    Govt./ Semi Govt./ Autonomous body, Airline, Travel Agent, GSA, Tour Operator, Immigration/Visa Processing, Transport Service, Travel Startup, Transport Startup, Airport Service
Additional Requirements

The applicants should have experience in the following areas:

  • Five to ten years of experience in Accounting and Finance, preferably in a travel agency and service organization.

  • Expertise in Microsoft 365 applications (i.e., Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) with proficiency in Excel.

  • Sound knowledge of accounting and finance principles, standards, and regulations.

  • Knowledge of VAT, tax and other relevant national and international laws, rules and regulations.

  • Proficiency and hands-on experience with software such as QuickBooks and Zoho.

  • Experience in managing and conducting annual audit.

  • Data management and data analysis skills.

  • Detail-oriented with a passion for accuracy.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with expertise working in a dynamic, diverse, and multidisciplinary team.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to explain financial terms in simple language.

  • Possession of characteristics such as integrity, credibility, and commitment to organization’s vision, mission and objectivesAbility to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Job Description

Pan Pacific Tours is a travel agency providing travel and tourist visa service. We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented individual to join our team as Manager, Accounts and Finance. The ideal applicant will be responsible for ensuring accounts and finance activities of the organization smoothly and with accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensuring accurate recording of daily transactions such as payments, accounts payable, cash receipts and accounts receivable, credit card transactions, and payroll.
  • Carrying out timely and accurate month-end journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations (e.g., net assets, investments, revenue, expenses, payroll allocations, etc.), and ensuring that accounting schedules are correctly updated.
  • Ensuring accurate revenue and expense recognition, and monthly financial reporting.
  • Monitoring cash and investment balances, and forecasting cash flow.
  • Ensuring all finance and accounting operations comply with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), and federal and state laws and regulations.
  • Assisting management in developing and monitoring departmental, project, and organizational budget.
  • Performing fiscal year-end closing activities, tax filing, and assisting with activities and requirements of external auditors.
  • Continually seeking and implementing opportunities to streamline and improve accounting and financial operations through technology including training other employees to better utilize financial and accounting software.
  • Other duties as assigned to meet organizational requirements.
