Essential:
4+ years of solid experience in Resilience building, Livelihood officer capacity in international non-governmental organizations (NGOs), at least 1 year of working in child-centred programs design and implementation.
Experience working in consortiums/partnership implementation programs·
Computer proficiency in general office and statistical software applications e.g. SPSS.
Outstanding written and oral communication skills in English and Bengali;
Demonstrated diplomacy in building relationships and working with diverse cultures and audiences and sensitive situations and subject matter
Experience in strategic planning approaches – including needs assessment and programs design, logical framework development, selecting indicators, implementing monitoring plans, coordinating evaluations and data analysis
Experience in M&E methods and approaches (including quantitative, qualitative and participatory work with children)
Commitment to Solidar’s overall mission, vision and values, including strong commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion and child safeguarding
Familiarity with project cycle management
Desirable:
Knowledge and experience in implementing Child Protection projects/programmes will be and added value
Organized and able to manage own time under guidance and direction from line-manager

Responsibilities & Context
Demonstrate sound resource management and accountability to ensure that Solidar project funds/resources are utilized to achieve project goals, by respecting Solidar and donor policies and procedures.
Implementation of monthly work plans and provide climate-smart context-specific livelihood training and capacity building supports.
Ensure effective design and functioning of needs assessments and Livelihood beneficiary selection according to defined criteria and transparently share these with beneficiaries and community members considering the conflict sensitivity approach of Solidar Suisse.
Support and assist the partner in VST training.
Establish, and support monitoring and evaluation systems for project activities and train relevant partner staff.
Develop/review training curriculum for the Livelihood and skills development components, and participate in the selection of training providers for the skills development component.
Participate in the selection of and use of agricultural inputs and small livestock along with partner staff.
