Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor’s degree or a Master’s degree (Preferably in Finance). MBM will be an added advantage.

Experience
  • At least 10 years
Additional Requirements
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in lending activities (Relationship/Underwriting) of Bank/FIs.

  • Candidates with relevant certifications [Certificate in Commercial Credit (CICC)/Certified Expert in Credit Management (CECM)/Certified Expert in Risk Management (CERM)] are encouraged to apply.

  • Proven track record in developing and implementing successful corporate credit strategies.

  • Strong understanding of corporate business and regulatory requirements.

  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Position Overview

  • The Head of Corporate Credit will play a crucial role in shaping and executing the overall company’s corporate business and its credit strategy. This position requires a strategic thinker with extensive experience in corporate credit/underwriting or corporate business. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of corporate credit and risk assessment, developing strategies to optimize corporate business growth and managing required credit assessment of clients and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review of corporate credit appraisal and incorporate CRM observation highlighting company and industry analysis and various credit risk issues relating to business risk, if any.
  • Visit to new and existing clients to assess the operational and financial performance of individual businesses as and when required
  • Co-coordinating with the Head of Corporate Business and/or Relationship Manager for resolving credit related issues.
  • Need to perform in depth and updated industry/macroeconomic analysis to identify or recommend the appropriate industry/company for financing and discouraged financing.
  • Ensure strict compliance of credit policy /PPG of LBF PLC and different regulatory guidelines issued by Bangladesh Bank and other regulatory authority of GoB.
  • Ensure annual of review of term loan/Lease clients as applicable to ascertain updated financial and operating performance of the borrower
  • Assimilation of PAR/NPL report to ascertain Early Alert accounts as well as classified borrowers for presenting before the MCC.
  • Facilitate Internal Control and Compliance department of LBF PLC and Bangladesh Bank for enabling CRM audit and responding to the audit queries in consultation with Chief Credit Officer.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team within the department.
  • Perform other jobs as assigned by Chief Credit Officer.
