Responsibilities & Context
Have to prepare the facility according to ISO 14001, ZDHC Chemical Management Program, Environment Chemical Management Program and HIGG FEM Program as per requirement of respective buyers.
Also prepare the facility for HIGG FEM 3.0 1st party/3rd party verification.
Have to Lead, coordinate and support all activities of system audits including but not limited to EMS & CMS related audit.
Also prepare, update and maintain audit documentations.
To coordinate & support factory head to improve day to day Environmental Management system.
Assesses all environmental, chemical & other housekeeping, workplace, EHS related risk issues.
Also monitor factory compliance in areas of local labor standards, health and work safety and environmental protection at factory premises.
Ensure Compliance of the internal activities according to the chemical code of practice.
Handle entire hazardous chemical program including proper transportation, handling, segregation, storage, labeling, secondary containment, safe use & disposal in compliance with all applicable regulation.
Implements BCMP (Best Chemical Management Practice) which complies buyer’s requirement.
Also trains on BCMP guideline for implementing all required issues as per BCMP manual.
To deal with the chemical restrictions & MSDS of chemicals and communicate & check with chemical supplier regarding chemical conformity issues.
Ensure the safety of all chemical processes and products in the company and also keep the premises free from all chemical toxicities.
Prepare monthly report of management necessary documents for HIGG index (Environment), BVE3, BHive, Clean Chain, STEP etc.
Maintain update of Chemical/Water/Wastewater/Energy/Waste Inventory on monthly basis.
Managing different parameter like pH, TSS, COD, BOD5, TDS , MLSS, MLVSS, SVI, etc. of inlet/outlet point of waste water & sludge of ETP plant as per legal & buyer requirements.
Ensure sludge management process as per ECR-2015. Conduct awareness training program to workers along with top managements on 3R policy, water saving, waste reduction, EMS, buyer code of conduct.
Performs HIGG self-assessment and prepares documentation as per HIGG FEM 3.0 (EMS, Energy, Water, Wastewater, Air Emission & Waste ).
Prepares corrective action plan as per audit findings. Also share & monitor it to relevant sections to solve those issues as early as possible as per buyer requirements.
