Responsibilities & Context

Bengal Airlift limited is a prominent organisation in Bangladesh,specialising in passenger and cargo operation. As the General Sales Agent (GSA) for various Airlines, we proudly represents Fitsair, a Sri Lankan airline operating in Bangladesh through our services.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Pre-Flight Procedure:

  • Pre-Flight Briefing
  • Make briefing sheets
  • Crew, staff & GHA
  • Manpower allocation
  • Departure baggage planning
  • Flight editing
  • Print flight plan 

Check-In Counter:

  • Confirm & make ready the check-in counter before counter open
  • Make sure GHA staffs are ready for check-in counter- Open check in counter exactly before 4 hrs of STD
  • Complete all check-in for the flight without any wrong check-in and other issues
  • Handle EBT, EMD issues and other services
  • Make sure close the check-in process exactly 1 hr before STD 

Boarding Gate:

  • Confirm & make ready boarding gate before start boarding-       Properly provide proper information to AVSEC
  • Make sure GHA staffs are ready to start boarding pass scan-       Start boarding gate exactly 2 hrs before STD
  • Properly complete the Boarding on time 

Flight Receive:

  • Attach the boarding bridge after getting the permission from PIC clearance
  • After greetings with cabin manager ask for SSR
  • Monitor the ACFT cleaning
  • Collect fuel Doc from PIC
  • Ensure load controller on board
  • Assist boarding clearance from cabin manager 

Arrival

  • Confirm the arrival belt number and inform to Ramp staff-Ensure clear the belt area
  • Ensure the baggage arrive to the belt on-time
  • Verify the baggage with baggage tag
  • Attend the passengers whose required for PIR, DPR, Pilferage or any IR issues

RAMP:

  • Ensure bay Number
  • FOD check
  • Post Flight Procedure:
  • Ensure PD on time
  • Send GD
