Responsibilities & Context

SAIC Group contributes their effort in large scale in the education sector in whole Bangladesh. Almost One Thousand (Administrative + Academic) staffs are employment under SAIC Group. And about 15000 Thousand Students continue their study under SAIC Group. We are looking for an Executive -Job Placement for

  • Rumdo Institute of Modern Technology, Mymensingh;
  • who will be able to analyze the Market Demands and supply of our eligible students accordingly.His major responsibility would be ensuring better placement opportunities for all students having Engineering and Nursing background and to fulfill all the associated tasks related with pre and post-placement. He should perform a mix of career counseling and related duties to coordinate with the institution's staffs and students. His daily duties range from examining job descriptions and employment advertisement to helping students complete the hiring process. He must travel to visit potential employers, attend hiring events, and visit renowned human resources teams according to action plan.       
  • Job Placement of short course training of 12 batches every cycle.
  • Collect resumes, phone numbers, and email addresses of students based on their trade/technology/course and create a database.
  • Upload the database to the institution’s website and update it regularly.
  • Assist students in preparing resumes that highlight their educational qualifications, work experience, and other skills.
  • Conduct interviews to assess candidates’ skills and competencies.
  • Provide career counseling to students.
  • Regularly search for job opportunities and upload them to the institution’s website.
  • Offer guidance and support to students in securing employment.
  • Arrange mock interviews for skill development.
  • Organize Job Fairs to present graduates to employers based on their requirements and facilitate job placements.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with potential employers, industries,and factories. Negotiate Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) to secure job placements for graduates.
  • Set and achieve monthly and annual targets for job placements.
  • Publish placement-related leaflets/magazines featuring details of trained and skilled students, their contact information, lists of potential employers and industries, and tips for securing quality jobs.
  • Explore overseas job opportunities, coordinate with relevant stakeholders, and guide students through the application and onboarding processes.
  • Compile a list of the institution’s alumni, gather their employment information, and maintain an updated database.
  • Prepare quarterly reports and special reports as needed.
  • Any other duties as assigned from time to time
