Job Description

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor/Honors
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing/ Textile Engineering or relevant field. MBA is considered a plus.
Experience
  • At least 3 years
Additional Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in marketing/merchandising, preferably in the textile industry or a similar sector.
  • Strong knowledge of towel or textile manufacturing processes and market trends.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite and digital marketing tools.
  • Experience in using ERP will get preference.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Willingness to travel as required for client meetings and industry events.

Responsibilities & Context

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities to expand the company’s market presence.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients to ensure customer loyalty.

  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets as defined by the company.

  • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.

  • Address client inquiries, complaints, and feedback promptly and professionally.

  • Collaborate with the production and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of products to clients.

  • Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms with clients while maintaining profitability.

  • Assist in the development and implementation of marketing campaigns to promote the company’s products.

  • Participate in trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events to showcase the company’s offerings.

  • Develop promotional materials, including brochures, presentations, and online content, in collaboration with the marketing team.

  • Monitor sales performance and prepare detailed reports for management on a regular basis.

  • Analyze sales data to identify trends and areas for improvement.

  • Provide feedback to the product development team to ensure alignment with market demands.

  • Work closely with the production team to ensure product quality and availability align with client requirements.

  • Coordinate with the finance team to manage invoices, payments, and pricing strategies.
